No Two People Read The Same Book
January 17, 2009Book talk is one of the most important things that we can do with our children, be it at home as parents or in school as teachers. It is the personal response to texts, how they make us feel, what we are puzzled by, the clues to the text that we are picking up on and the questions that we have. If it is to be a ‘collaborative meaning for reaching’ then time and space must be given for all to share their thoughts and opinions. What do you do to encourage book talk?
