New blog for resources and ideas in literacy
This blog is a new idea. We get so many resources and ideas for literacy teaching that updating the website once month is not often enough. We need something that we can update much more frequently and this is it! The other reason for using a blog is that you can comment on the resources that we share by letting us know how you use them, what you think of them or suggest new ones. So please join in.

This website has been designed to support schools, parents and children in suggeting books to read. It includes latest titles, author of the month and reviews. The children’s zone and family zone are free and available to all. The school zone is a subscription zone. It includes lists of books for things such as reading aloud to children, suggestions for books for particular ages and links to competitions and authors. It also includes titles of books and suggests other books that children might enjoy if they liked the first book. This is a particularly valuable resource for teachers.
